If your car sum insured is RM60,000 and you choose AIG insurance special perils, you must pay an additional 0.30% to enjoy the coverage, bringing the total cost of one year’s coverage to RM180, subject to an additional 6% SST.

 

How to file a special perils claim?

Here the process of making a claim with your insurer if something happened to your vehicle when you are protected under the special perils coverage.
1. When something happens to your car, make sure not to start, clean or wash your car, as you need to show this as a part of evidence to your insurance company.
2. Take as many photos and videos as you can to be provided as proof for your claim.
3. Call your insurance company's hotline right away and tell them about your current situation.
4. Transport your vehicle to the nearest panel workshop by your insurer.
5. Once the repair is done, that sum will be covered by your insurer.
